Record Seat Price

A new high record for the price of a seat on the New York Stock Exchange was made last week.

The previous high price was $115,000, paid for a seat in January, 1920.

Last week three seats were sold. One went for $112,000, one for $114,000 and the third record-breaker for $116,000.

Samuel F. Streit sold his seat at the last amount to Otto B. Reimer. He had bought his seat in 1899 for $32.500.
