Czechoslovakia!!, Jugoslavian, Polish residents of the U. S. submitted to the Commission of Fine Arts a design for a $200,000 memorial to Woodrow Wilson. They desired to erect it in Washington. Permission was last week refused. The Commission felt that, if President Wilson is of sufficient importance in the nation's history, Congress will do the appropriate honors; otherwise the statue would be, at the least, superfluous.
