John Garibaldi Sargent of Vermont, Attorney General, last week bought a house in Cleveland Park, close to his place of employment. It is near Red Top, the house Grover Cleveland used as a summer home. The purchase has, however, something more than sentimental importance--it means that the Attorney General has no intention of resigning his post, as frequently rumored, as hopefully prophesied by wits whom his rusticity offends.
