No Junk Heap

"The air equipment of today is not the junk heap on wings that some people would make you believe it is," said able, active F. Trubee Davison, Assistant Secretary of War for Aeronautics, to railroad men in New Haven, Conn., last week. He sketched the five-year aviation program, now under way: 2,000 airplanes, 1,650 flying officers, 500 flying cadets, 14,500 enlisted men--for the Army Air Corps before 1932. The Navy has a similar program.
