P: Passed (57 to 26) a bill to take the census and reapportion the House of Representatives.

P: Debated a bill by Idaho's Borah to suppress unfair and fraudulent practices in marketing perishable farm products.

P: Adopted a resolution accepting from South Carolina a statue of Wade Hampton for the Capitol's statuary hall.

P: Confirmed Dwight Filley Davis as Governor-General of the Philippines, Charles Evans Hughes Jr. as U. S. Solicitor-General, Robert Hendry Lucas as Commissioner of Internal Revenue.
