New York Horses
For the first time in seven years, New York City's health authorities, intent on stamping out house flies, last week took a census of all the horses within their province. The total counted was 22,156, as compared with 50,053 in 1924. In the total, however, were included 1,729 saddle-horses, an increase of 25% in the past two years.
