Mitchell, who in the early part of the century had the Helena, Mont, agency for Mitchell cars, never became reconciled. He always refused to sell a Mitchell, new or secondhand, for less than its list price.

Recently, Parker Morelli Motor Co., Packard agents in Helena, decided to expand. Next door was the late Mr. Mitchell's display room. Leasing this property, Parker Morelli also acquired no less than 14 old Mitchells (no relation to Dealer Mitchell). Some had never been used; they originally cost from $3,400 to $4,800 and when Mr. Mitchell could not sell them at that price, he had hung on to them. Parker Morelli, promptly putting all 14 on sale, by last week had sold the lot--at prices ranging from $15 to $25. One 1905 yellow roadster (see cut) had two upholstered "mother-in-law" seats behind the driver. It goes 35 (with some difficulty), is not bad on hills.
