Last week he proved to be alive and kicking. From a mysterious retreat somewhere in Communist territory, he came to Thainguyen, 40 miles from Hanoi, and lunched with Canadian, Indian and Polish members of the armistice commission. The Indian representative, Subimal Dutt, reported himself very favorably impressed.
