P:Charles H. Kellstadt, 63, president of Sears, Roebuck & Co. since 1958, became board chairman and chief executive officer, replacing Fowler B. McConnell, 65, who retired after 44 years with the company. The new president will be Crowdus Baker, 54, former vice president and comptroller. Kellstadt joined Sears in 1932.
