Hand in hand and smiling hopefully last week as they left St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, Calif., Patti and Samuel Frustaci could hardly have been anything but quintessentially proud parents. Though two of their seven tiny infants had not survived the largest U.S. multiple birth ever, the remaining five were clinging to life and now have names. Previously dubbed babies A to E, they are Patricia Ann, James Martin, Stephen Earl, Bonnie Marie and Richard Charles. "They're beautiful," said Mrs. Frustaci. "I just hope they live." All have a better than fifty-fifty chance of survival. But James Martin and Bonnie Marie still have serious lung problems, and none of the five yet weighs more than 29 oz. (An optimum newborn weight is 8 lbs.) They will not be following Mom home for at least three months.
