EUCALYPTUS SAPLINGS: JUST SAY NO. New satellite photographs suggest that Mexico's marijuana growth is ten times as great as previous estimates. Trouble is, some of these pictures may lie. Mexican authorities say they have inspected several alleged pot fields and discovered not cannabis but hundreds of eucalyptus saplings. The Mexicans are annoyed not only by the inaccuracies but by the spy-in-the-sky snooping. "We would also like to know," says a Mexican drug official, "if they photographed Northern California."
