The Attorney General reported on the government's ability to collect court- ordered restitution in S&L fraud cases, using Dallas as an example. In fiscal 1989 just $2,700 was paid of the $3.1 million ordered by the courts. This year $2.5 million has been ordered. The take so far: $50.
