OVERHEARD IN THE schoolyard last week at the Flint Hill Elementary School in Vienna, Virginia, as a six-year-old introduced a pal to her parents:

Classmate: This is Marshall Bush.

Father: Do you know who her grandfather is?

Classmate: Yes! President Bush.

Marshall Bush: Yes, but he won't be President much longer.
