Packing At the Cia
By Janice Castro
CIA OFFICIALS INVESTIGATING THE SHOOTING SPREE THAT left two dead and three wounded outside the agency's entrance gate two weeks ago doubt that the still unidentified killer was a present or former CIA employee. For one thing, the attacker did not attempt to go inside. In most cases, embittered ex-employees who go on shooting sprees enter the workplace to attack their former colleagues. And at CIA headquarters, anyone can carry a gun into the complex. Just as at other government agencies, there are no metal detectors at the entrances.
