MILLION-DOLLAR BOULEVARD

MILLION-DOLLAR BOULEVARD
We now know FAYE DUNAWAY can sue; we may never know whether she can sing. After ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER dropped her from his Los Angeles production of Sunset Boulevard last year, claiming the cinema star wasn't up to its ``musical demands,'' she countered by slapping him with a $6 million lawsuit. But now composer and actress are practically humming in harmony, having settled their differences for an undisclosed sum--reported to be $1.5 million. Dunaway said she was pleased they were able to ``patch up a very painful public rift,'' and Lloyd Webber lauded her as ``an extraordinary talent.'' A happy ending for both, even if they are riding off into different sunsets.
THE SWAN MUST GO ON
After a 23-hour flight from Sydney, the Australian dancers LISA PAVANE, 33, and GREG HORSMAN, 31, were ready for sleep in their London flat. Then the phone rang. Midway through the English National Ballet's Swan Lake, the prima ballerina was injured. Pavane and Horsman--they're married and not the star- crossed lovers they dance in Romeo and Juliet, above--were summoned. The two E.N.B. principals rushed by taxi to Royal Festival Hall as the audience waited. They leaped into Act III. ``It was,'' says Pavane, who whipped through the Black Swan's famously difficult 32 fouettes, ``our worst nightmare and a dream come true.''
SEEN & HEARD
Their parents were bitter opponents, but Kris Aquino, 23, and Ferdinand (``Bongbong'') Marcos Jr., 36, have turned the other cheek. The daughter of former Philippine President Corazon Aquino invited the late dictator's son, who is now a Congressman, onto her Manila TV talk show. ``Did you hate us?'' she asked meaningfully. ``Maybe in the beginning,'' he admitted. After a chat, they kissed politely. Corazon Aquino is reported to be ``very, very upset'' about the encounter on the show, but Bongbong's mother Imelda declared, ``The older generation has a lot to learn from their children.''
WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE
Before CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK, 26, dove into his new duties as a Danish Royal Navy Seal, he and girlfriend KATJA STORKHOLM NIELSEN, 24, splashed in the sun. Lingerie model Nielsen and the unmelancholy Dane lacked for a private paradise on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius; the usually discreet Scandinavian press avidly pursued them. Might Storkholm Nielsen someday be Queen? The official word from the court was that evergreen cliche: They're just good friends.
