We all knew champion golfer TIGER WOODS had a thing for the blond. But when he appeared capless last Thursday for the opening ceremony of the sixth Presidents Cup golf tournament in Gainesville, Va., onlookers got a clue as to just how big a thing: Woods has introduced a mess of blond splotches to his naturally dark do. Are they supposed to represent tiger stripes? Sand traps? A map of his brain? He's not saying. He kept his head covered on the links and, when egged by reporters and fellow players to explain the curious coiffure, said, "Just having fun. Got to do it while I've still got it." So far, no barber has claimed responsibility for the action.
