Today I drove as usual to sunset blvd for the routine radiation therapy. But I got very bad traffic and was later more than half an hour. I thought I need say something like: I’m sorry for being so late because of the terrible traffic. However, the therapist there just finishing working on another patient, who had her appointment just before me, saw me and said:” You got bad traffic? Don’t worry. You are not the only one.”
That’s it. I don’t need say anything. That I’m not the only one means much much more to me. Don’t cry when you are in trouble and don’t be stupid when you are lucky. You’re not the only one, which I want to share with anyone who read this.
