Worrying about the increasing impact of energy consumption on our environmental dwellings, more suggestions about how to save energy and increase its using efficiency have been putting onto the table.
Here is mine:
1. I think people living in developed countries should learn from those in developing and under-developing countries and our forefarthers. Decreasing your enjoying desire and make life simple can save the earth a lot. High enjoying requirements are not going to bring you the happiness but waste your time and environmental resources.
2. Don’t drive a car when it’s not necessary. Walking exercises you. Don’t go gym especially walking or jogging on the treadmill. Why not do that around your house if you live in the countryside. Feeling nature don’t need to go outing by car. Returning to the basic life makes you natural.
3. Turn off everything in your home or office except refrigerator and some build-in sensors when you are going to be out for a while. Don’t use air conditioner in most of the year. It’s not necessary for most of the people. If you feel cold or hot, just put on or off your clothes. Let the clothes perform their basic functions.
4. Live closely to your neighbours. Live together with your family. Just as our forefarthers in craves did, living together can save us a lot. Americans like to live sparsely and then they spend time and energy on commuting. I don’t think it’s efficient. Sure when the gas molecules get energy, they like to separate from each other. But we are not gas molecules. We should be wise to build or buy our houses which are close to our company and society if we want to be energy efficient.
These are just some basic rules that I would like to follow in my life. Sure you can have your plan. But remember that creating energy don’t give you the priviledge to overuse it. Actually energy can’t be created, it’s already been there. Human being just takes it. Please don’t be shameless even if you can afford it.]]>
