Actually this is more true considering the “compound interests”. China booms rapidly in 1950s, from the middle of 1970s to the middle of 1990s, and 2000s, almost 30 years.
Sure we can dig deeper about the growth YoY and overall performance:
Overall China has grown with 11% annually over the last 70 years based on RMB.
In terms of global major economics over the last 60 years:
US growth becomes lagging behind the world. Japan did good for the 1st 30 years but trapped stagnant for the 2nd 30 years.
US dollar speaking, over the last 60 years China is growing at 10%, Japan 8%, US is 6%, and Germany, Britain, France around 6.3-6.5% while the world is 7%.
